Mr. Andrew Crawford
Faculty Sponsor

Mr. Andrew Crawford currently teaches Honors World Literature and IB Theory of Knowledge in the Upper School at TAS. Although these are unlikely credentials for a TAS faculty sponsor of NOVA, he is nonetheless excited to be working with a passionate and driven group of students who aim to put together an exciting and rewarding event that will allow participants to engage in creative, purposeful entrepreneurship and problem-solving.

Natalie Wu '26
Co-President

Natalie Wu is the Co-President of NOVA and is a senior at Taipei American School. She is interested in developing innovative ideas and looks forward to fostering her organizational skills by putting together events for NOVA with other officers. She enjoys meeting new people and she wishes that, through NOVA, she’s able to build strong connections with the participants and further develop her entrepreneurship skills. She’s very excited to meet everyone at this year’s event!

William Feung '26
Co-President

William Feung is the Co-President at NOVA and a senior at Taipei American School. Being surrounded by experts and entrepreneurs in the technology industry, William has developed a deep interest in business and innovation. His role at NOVA allows him to actively explore the art of entrepreneurship while helping others do the same. He hopes to inspire students to cultivate a passion for business and gain valuable entrepreneurial skills that extend beyond the competition. William is excited to meet this year’s participants and looks forward to seeing all the creative ideas come to life!

Phoebe Hsu '26
Vice President

Phoebe Hsu is the Vice President for NOVA and a senior at Taipei American School. Although business may not seem to be her focus in school, she really enjoys brainstorming creative ideas and build problem-solving skills through entrepreneurship. She also utilizes her STEM skills such as coding and data analysis to help the competition flow smoothly. Phoebe hopes that everyone enjoys this year's competition and is excited to meet everyone!

Jocelyn Tsai '26
Director Head

Jocelyn Tsai is the Director Head at NOVA and a senior at Taipei American School. She is passionate about creativity and innovation, and is dedicated to creating a great experience for all participants. Through this role, she aims to showcase the competition’s impact and inspire students to explore their entrepreneurial potential. Jocelyn is very excited for this year’s event, and looks forward to connecting with everyone and helping make NOVA a success!

Sian Park '27
Co-Director of Operations

Sian Park is a Director of Operations for NOVA and a junior at Taipei American School. Business wasn’t initially a part of her academic plan, but she’s recently become interested in it. She enjoys organizing large-scale student-led events and participating in many different types of clubs. Sian is excited to be a part of NOVA this year and hopes to collaborate with her co-officers in order to make this year’s NOVA event a success.

Co-Director of Operations

Stanley Chiu is a Co-Director of Operations for NOVA and a junior at Taipei American School. With a keen interest in technology and innovation, he is passionate about creating and supporting new ideas. Stanley is excited to be a part of NOVA this year and looks forward to seeing the creative ideas that participants will bring to the competition. He hopes to help make this year’s event a memorable success!

Ashton Ku '26
Co-Director of Judging and Mentoring

Ashton Ku, a senior at TAS is the Director of Judging and Mentoring for NOVA. Being an extrovert he enjoys communicating and getting close with basically anyone, helping him in any business related workplace. His communication skills help bring in the best and most supportive groups of judges and mentors, allowing contestants to have the best time in NOVA.

Tristan Kuo '26
Co-Director of Judging and Mentoring

Tristan Kuo serves as NOVA’s Director of Judging and Mentoring and is currently a senior at Taipei American School. He has long been interested in business and enjoys exploring creative ideas and solving problems through entrepreneurship. As an extrovert, Tristan values connecting with others. He leverages his strong communication skills to bring together supportive groups of judges and mentors, ensuring the best experience for NOVA contestants.

Tiffany Chan '26
Co-Director of Marketing and Technology

Tiffany Chan is the Director of Marketing and Technology for NOVA and a senior at Taipei American School. She was driven to join NOVA by her passion for innovation and learning new things. She has interests in a wide variety of subjects and hopes her experience in leadership at other clubs will help bring new ideas and perspectives for NOVA. Tiffany is very excited to join NOVA this year and cannot wait to work with the rest of the amazing leadership team!

Faith Chiu is the Director of Marketing and Technology for NOVA. Faith enjoys the ways in which creativity and innovation can be employed in order to solve real-world issues. As a former participant of NOVA, she’s really looking forward to all the exciting ideas that participants will come up with this year!
